There is No "Right" Way to Do Self-care

Blocking off time in your day to take care of yourself? Yes, please! But, to be honest, sometimes bubble baths and face masks don't cut it for me. Too often I blow off me-time all together because I feel like it can only look one way... but self-care is whatever helps you hit the reset button.
Here are some "different" #selfcare ideas I turn to when I need a pause from my hectic life:
Treat myself to a delicious meal
Cry in the shower
Scroll through my camera roll
Watch my favorite TV show or movie
Lay on the floor
Buy myself a small gift
Grocery Shop
Wash my sheets
Drink a warm drink
Listen to Christmas music
Check a small item off my to-do list
Clean my makeup brushes
Watch standup comedy
Text a family member or friend and to just say hi or thank them
Indulge in a tasty dessert or drink
While some of these activities might not be #selfcare insta-worthy, they really do help me pause and focus on me. How do you practice self-care? Share below!
